Giant Monster Movies is a reference for fans of films with enormous creatures. Over time, we expect the GMM database to become a comprehensive listing of every film to feature a big ol' critter stomping around while puny humans flee from its path. We've had more than a few debates about what constitutes a giant monster (Do dinosaurs count? They're supposed to be big!), but in the end we'll probably include anything larger than seven feet tall and life-threatening.

The front page will feature news updates about new movies, DVD releases, and giant monster sightings in pop culture and current events. In the future, we'll add sections about video games, books, and other media that feature giant monsters.

If you notice a favorite film that's missing from the database, chances are it's on our list to be included. Feel free to contact us and make a suggestion or to ask a question or make a comment.
