Recap of the Tokyo International Film Festival GMMG Premiere
Norman England attended the Tokyo International Film Festival last week, and came back with a rather lengthy review of both the new Godzilla - Mothra - Mechagodzilla - Tokyo SOS film, which premiered at the festival, and the events afterward. I haven't read it myself as I intend to avoid spoilers for a while, but if you're just dying to know all about what went on and what to expect about ten months from now when the film hits bootleg U.S. DVD, start reading now.

Uncut Godzilla '54 in American Theaters?
Rialto Pictures' web site indicates that they will be releasing the uncut version of the original Gojira to American movie theaters in the Spring of 2004. As Toho Kingdom points out, this is likely to be a severely limited release, but if you start working on your local art theater now, you may be able to get them to bring it to your town.
