Godzilla on the Sci Fi Channel this week
On Monday, January 19th the Sci Fi Channel will be showing several Godzilla movies, including widescreen presentations of Godzilla vs. Gigan and Godzilla vs. Megalon. The fun starts at 8:00 am with Godzilla vs. Hedorah.

Godzilla X Mechagodzilla - region 1 DVD in March
Fangoria reports that Columbia/Tri-Star Home Video plans to release Godzilla X Mechagodzilla (under the title Godzilla Against Mechagodzilla) to U.S. region 1 DVD in March. Apparently a Japanese language version will be available, though it is as yet uncertain what other versions of the film (subtitled? English dubbed?) will appear on the disc. This is good news for American Godzilla fans!
