1912: GEORGE KHOURY, who played Verrico the fisherman in "20 Million Miles to Earth", is born in Cairo, Egypt.

1923: KEIJU KOBAYASHI, who played Prime Minister Mitamura in "Godzilla 1985", is born in Gunma, Japan. He was also in "The Three Treasures" and "Mount Hakkoda", and played Dr. Tadokoro Tanaka in "Tidal Wave". His other credits include the "Shacho" comedy films, the spy in the closet in "Sanjuro", and the boss in "A Taxing Woman".
WILL SCHAEFER, who co-wrote the theme for "The Godzilla Power Hour", is born in Kenosha, Wis.

1924: PAULA RAYMOND, who played Lee Hunter in "The Beast From 20,000 Fathoms", is born Paula Ramona Wright in San Francisco. She was the granddaughter of Farnsworth Wright, editor of "Weird Tales" magazine.

1930: ROBERT EASTON, who played a deckhand in "The Beast From 20,000 Fathoms", is born Robert Burke in Milwaukee. He is a well-respected dialect coach in Hollywood.

1932: KUNIE TANAKA, who played Yasaku in the "Hoichi the Earless" segment "Kwaidan" and the principal in "Evil of Dracula", is born in Gifu, Japan. He also appeared as the rival in the "Young Guy" series and in Yakuza and "jidai-geki" films.

1965: Shootfighter/wrestler DON FRYE, who will play Atragon Captain Douglas Gordon in "Godzilla: Final Wars", is born.
