1942: TAKESHI OBAYASHI, who was in "Godzilla 2000", is born in Okayama, Japan.
1943: JULIE BENNETT, who dubbed the female voices in "King Kong Escapes", is born in Beverly Hills, Calif.
1944: KOJI WADA, who played Mashida in "Gappa the Triphibian Monster", is born in Ibaraki, Japan.
1949: JOHN BELUSHI, who hosted NBC's presentation of "Godzilla vs. Megalon" in 1977, is born in Chicago. A former cast member of "Saturday Night Live", he starred in the films "National Lampoon's Animal House" and "The Blues Brothers".
1954: YOICHI MIURA, who played Manabu Nonaka in "Time Slip", is born in Iwakura-shi, Aichi, Japan.
1955: MASAAKI TEZUKA, who directed "Godzilla vs. Megaguirus", "Godzilla Against Mechagodzilla", and "Godzilla: Tokyo S.O.S.", is born in Tochigi, Japan. A former assistant director on "Virus", "Princess from the Moon", "Rebirth of Mothra 2", and "Rebirth of Mothra 3", he also directed composite footage on "Godzilla, Mothra, King Ghidorah: Giant Monsters All-Out Attack", co-wrote GMMG, and put in cameos in GMK (as an SDF officer) and GMMG.
1964: HOKA KINOSHITA, who played the Moguera pilot in "Godzilla vs. Space Godzilla", is born in Osaka. He was also in the "Shokki" story in "School of Ghosts G" and "Isola: Multiple Personality Girl".
1988: Episode 16 of "Kamen Rider Black" debuts on Japanese TV.

1926: LYN OSBORN, who played Sgt. Taylor in "The Amazing Colossal Man", is born in Wichita Falls, Texas.
1939: SHINICHI "SONNY" CHIBA is born Sadao Maeda in Fukuoka. He played Ironsharp/Space Chief in "Invasion of the Neptune Men", Cmdr. Yamatone in "The Golden Bat", Ken in "Terror Beneath the Sea", Hans in "Message from Space", and "Virus", but is best known for the ultraviolent "Streetfighter" films and "Kill Bill Vol. 1". He also founded the Japan Action Club, which provided the stunts and action scenes for many Toho and Toei shows.
1966: Episode 4 of "Ultra Q", "The Mammoth Flower", debuts on Japanese TV.
1967: Episode 30 of "The Space Giants", "Monster Teravarden vs. Scramble" a.k.a. "Terror from East to West", debuts on Japanese TV.
1981: Episode 14 of "Kamen Rider Super-1" debuts on Japanese TV.
1983: SAKI HAMAMATSU, who played Radietta on "Highspeed Task Force Carranger", is born in Tokyo.
