1929: JAMES HONG, who dubbed the voices of Serizawa and Ogata in "Godzilla, King of the Monsters" and Mizuno and the narrator in "The Human Vapor", is born in Minneapolis. The founder of the East-West Players theater company, he is perhaps best remembered as evil sorcerer David Lo Pan in "Big Trouble in Little China".
1932: KEI TANI of the Crazy Cats comedy team is born in Tokyo. Taking his stage name as a variation on Danny Kaye, he appeared in the films "Don't Call Me a Con Man", "Las Vegas Free-For-All", and "Red Shadow", and played Tadaoki in "Moon over Tao".
1934: ICHIRO ZAITSU, who was in "Tokyo Blackout", is born in Kumamoto, Japan.
